Since July, 1st, 2005 on the basis of department
#8 works Clinic of the first psychotic episode
where patients can receive treatment in less
stigmatized conditions. The clinic of the
first psychotic episode is opened with support
of pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly

 History of the hospital
State healthcare institution "Arkhangelsk
regional clinical mental hospital" (ARCMH)
was founded by the order of department of
public health services of the Arkhangelsk
region, on September, 1st, 2003 after reorganization
of two hospitals "ARCMH-1 " and
" ARCMH-2 ". Each of the institutions
had the eventful history.

Cabinet of social rehabilitation
 Within the Russian-German project under supervision
of Arkhangelsk regional public organization
"Bridge" in 2003 Cabinet of social
rehabilitation and preventive maintenance
of socially-dangerous actions of the persons,
suffering from mental disorders was opened
(CSR).

|
International collaboration
Since 1996 there
has been collaboration between
the University Hospital
for Northern Norway
and the University
of Tromso on the Norwegian
side and Arkhangelsk
Regional Psychiatric
Hospital and Northern
State Medical University
on the Russian side.

|
|
Clinical trials
Five doctors in our hospital have Good Clinical
Practice (GCP) certificates. GCP is an international
ethical and scientific quality standard for
designing, conducting, recording and reporting
trials that involve the participation of
human subjects.
